GoNanas Key Account Manager
Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid with 4 days in office
Job Overview As GoNanas’ Key Account Manager, you will own and grow key national retail accounts while helping build and lead the next phase of our sales organization. This role combines strategic account ownership, data-driven selling, and team leadership to drive sustainable, profitable growth across Mass, Grocery, and Club channels.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for key retail partners while managing internal sales execution and supporting the development of our sales operations team.
Responsibilities
Own day-to-day relationships and performance across key retail accounts
Drive sales targets, distribution expansion, and velocity growth
Support and lead line reviews, buyer meetings, joint business planning, and trade events
Develop customer-specific strategies across pricing, promotions, assortment, and merchandising
Identify whitespace opportunities including new items, seasonal programs, and incremental placements
Leverage syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, distributor and retailer data) to monitor performance and inform strategy
Build and execute account-level growth plans aligned with company financial goals
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to support launches and promotions
Translate customer and shopper insights into innovation, packaging, and go-to-market recommendations
Help manage and mentor the Sales Operations Analyst and Sales Coordinator
Establish processes that improve sales reporting, forecasting, and account management discipline
Support broker relationships and ensure alignment between internal strategy and field execution

Qualifications
3-4+ years of experience in sales, ideally at CPG.
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets.
Experience with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielson, distributor buy data).
Experience building sales forecast (Confido experience is a plus).
Ability to juggle details while keeping sight of the big picture.
Self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
