Wholesale Sales Manager (Coffee + Matcha)
Couplet Coffee is a woman‑owned specialty coffee and matcha brand based in Los Angeles. We’re expanding our wholesale channel into hotels, restaurants, cafés, and hospitality groups and need a sales closer who knows this market.
The Role You will own outbound sales for our wholesale program across coffee and matcha product lines: prospecting, pitching, closing, and managing new accounts in food‑service and hospitality. This starts as a 2‑month part‑time engagement with a clear path to full‑time conversion based on performance.
What You Bring
Proven wholesale sales experience in coffee, tea, beverage, or specialty food
Existing relationships with hotel F&B buyers, hospitality groups, café owners, or food‑service distributors
Track record of closing B2B accounts in the $100K+ annual range
Ability to work a territory, build a pipeline, and hit quota
Bonus: experience selling matcha, coffee, or specialty beverage ingredients
The Structure
Months 1–2:
Part‑time (20–25 hrs/week), prorated base + full commission from day one
Month 3+:
Full‑time conversion at $70K base salary
Commission:
Earned on all new wholesale revenue you close
Compensation Base Salary (FT):
$70,000 / year
Commission:
10% on first‑year revenue from new accounts you close
Accelerator:
10% commission rate once you exceed $150K/quarter in new revenue
Quarterly Bonus:
$2,500 per quarter when you hit $75K+ in new recurring revenue
Annual Kicker:
Additional $5,000 bonus at $500K+ in total annual bookings
