Internal Communications Specialist Cambridge, MA | Hybrid (In Office 3 days per week Required with Flexibility) Hours 20–30 hours per week

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Communications Specialist to play a critical role in supporting employee communications during Blueprint Medicines’ integration into Sanofi. This is a unique opportunity to help guide employees through one of the most significant moments in the company’s history—supporting the transition from a ~600 person biotech to part of a global organization of ~80,000 employees. You will have hands‑on ownership of high‑visibility communications channels and will contribute directly to how change, clarity, and connection are delivered at scale. This role is ideal for someone with prior communications experience who is eager to take ownership, work cross‑functionally, and gain rare, résumé‑defining experience supporting a large‑scale enterprise integration.

What You’ll Do You will serve as a key execution partner within Internal & Integration Communications, helping ensure employees remain informed, engaged, and supported throughout the integration.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, review, and distribution of internal newsletters, including the weekly Blink Bulletin

Own content development and ongoing management of digital signage across the Cambridge office

Support employee communications tied to evolving systems, processes, and ways of working, including HR, Legal, and IS/Digital updates

Partner cross‑functionally to translate complex integration milestones into clear, employee‑friendly communications

Support onsite employee events—from planning and execution through post‑event communications and takeaways

Who You Are

2+ years of communications experience (internships, contract roles, or full‑time experience welcome)

Strong writer and editor with a sharp eye for clarity, tone, and audience

Can manage multiple priorities and adapt as integration milestones evolve

Comfortable owning work independently while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners

Curious, detail oriented, and energized by fast moving, high impact work

Requirements

Prior experience in communications, marketing, corporate affairs, journalism, or a related field

Comfort working in Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, with flexibility for remote work

Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills
