About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Communications Specialist to play a critical role in supporting employee communications during Blueprint Medicines’ integration into Sanofi. This is a unique opportunity to help guide employees through one of the most significant moments in the company’s history—supporting the transition from a ~600 person biotech to part of a global organization of ~80,000 employees. You will have hands‑on ownership of high‑visibility communications channels and will contribute directly to how change, clarity, and connection are delivered at scale. This role is ideal for someone with prior communications experience who is eager to take ownership, work cross‑functionally, and gain rare, résumé‑defining experience supporting a large‑scale enterprise integration.
What You’ll Do
You will serve as a key execution partner within Internal & Integration Communications, helping ensure employees remain informed, engaged, and supported throughout the integration.
Responsibilities
Lead the development, review, and distribution of internal newsletters, including the weekly Blink Bulletin
Own content development and ongoing management of digital signage across the Cambridge office
Support employee communications tied to evolving systems, processes, and ways of working, including HR, Legal, and IS/Digital updates
Partner cross‑functionally to translate complex integration milestones into clear, employee‑friendly communications
Support onsite employee events—from planning and execution through post‑event communications and takeaways
Why This Role Matters
Internal communications is a cornerstone of a successful integration. In this role, you will help ensure employees understand what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and how they are supported—at a moment when clarity and trust matter most. Your work will directly contribute to a smooth transition as Blueprint becomes part of Sanofi.
Who You Are
2+ years of communications experience (internships, contract roles, or full‑time experience welcome)
Strong writer and editor with a sharp eye for clarity, tone, and audience
Can manage multiple priorities and adapt as integration milestones evolve
Comfortable owning work independently while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners
Curious, detail oriented, and energized by fast moving, high impact work
Requirements
Prior experience in communications, marketing, corporate affairs, journalism, or a related field
Comfort working in Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, with flexibility for remote work
Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills
Why You’ll Love This Opportunity
Ownership of high‑visibility, enterprise‑wide communications channels
Direct involvement in a large‑scale global integration
Exposure to communications at global enterprise scale
Close partnership with senior communications and cross‑functional leaders
Flexible schedule with meaningful, career‑accelerating work
