Senior Architectural Designer

An award-winning U.S. design firm that provides architecture, planning, and interior design services focused on complex, community-oriented projects and mass-timber innovation across diverse building types is seeking a Sr. Project Designer to help them turn ideas into compelling multi-family, hospitality and mixed-used environments while leading design excellence and mentoring teams at their Oakland, CA office. Your Day Includes Lead concept generation and translate ideas into buildable architectural designs using SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Enscape. Collaborate with firm leaders, clients, and project teams to present clear design narratives and guide decisions. Develop projects from yield studies through schematic design with strong planning and form-giving. Produce high-quality visualizations, drawings, and presentation materials in a fast-paced studio environment. Support coordination, code awareness, and design consistency across multiple housing typologies. Must Haves Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. 6–10 years of architectural experience, including 3–5 years of U.S. multi-family midrise design. Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Enscape, plus strong verbal and written communication skills. P.S.
