Overview

The Architectural Designer supports the full architectural design process by translating existing drawings into accurate digital models, performing field verifications, and producing high‑quality planning, schematic, design development, rendering, and construction documents. The role collaborates closely with the project team to refine and revise design documents, contribute to design charrettes, client presentations, and contract administration activities. Responsibilities

Input existing drawings into CAD software and ensure accurate digital documentation. Conduct field verifications to confirm existing conditions and update drawings and models accordingly. Create planning and schematic design documents under senior team direction. Develop design‑development drawings and detailed construction documents that support project delivery. Produce architectural renderings and visualizations using appropriate design and rendering software. Revise and update design documents based on feedback, coordination needs, and project changes. Support the architectural design process, including participation in design charrettes and collaborative work sessions. Assist in preparing materials for presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders. Support contract administration tasks as directed, maintaining clear and accurate project documentation. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other team members to ensure coordinated and cohesive design solutions. Maintain organized project files and documentation within CAD and office software systems. Essential Skills

Proficiency in CAD software, especially Revit. Experience with architectural rendering programs to create visualizations. Ability to produce planning, schematic, design development, and construction documents. Strong drafting skills with attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to revise and update design documents efficiently based on direction and feedback. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Capability to perform field verifications and translate site conditions into accurate drawings. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and project documentation. Effective communication and collaboration skills within a design team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Revit in an architectural or interior design setting. Familiarity with AutoCAD and other drafting tools. Interest in interior design and architectural detailing. Ability to contribute to design charrettes and collaborative brainstorming sessions. Comfort preparing and supporting presentations for internal and external audiences. Interest in participating in community and volunteer activities through the workplace. Work Environment

This is an in‑office role requiring consistent on‑site presence. The schedule offers flexibility, including Friday afternoons off and a smart‑casual dress code. The office emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and team engagement with monthly team‑building events. Employees receive 112 hours of paid time off (carry‑over up to 80 hours) plus an additional day off for work anniversaries and 16 hours of volunteer time off. The office closes from December 24 through January 1. Job Type & Location
