About The Role Western States Lodging & Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Area Sales Coordinator
to support sales efforts across a portfolio of hotels in Idaho. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is driven to contribute to revenue growth. As an Area Sales Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the sales team, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring exceptional service for clients and guests. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and proactively pursue opportunities will directly impact the success of the portfolio.
What You'll Do
Support and help drive revenue growth across multiple hotel properties
Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction
Track market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bookings, and results
Monitor daily arrivals to ensure guest needs and expectations are met
Collaborate with front desk teams to ensure accurate rates, group bookings, and reporting
Participate in community and industry events to build brand awareness
Assist with sales campaigns, promotions, and marketing initiatives
Attend regular team meetings and contribute to overall sales strategy
What We're Looking For
2+ years of hotel sales experience preferred
Valid driver's license required
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to build rapport and influence
Knowledge of sales techniques including prospecting, relationship building, and closing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Professional presence and a strong customer service mindset
Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable
