Account Executive, Outbound Sales

Job Overview We are seeking a driven, results‑oriented team player to join our expanding sales team as an Account Executive Outbound Sales.

You are an experienced hunter & sales closer with a track record of exceeding targets, who will identify customer needs, articulate OFX’s value proposition, and explain how our products and solutions deliver better business money management, financial operations, and spend control.

Responsibilities

Own the entire sales cycle through to close, hitting monthly targets and driving revenue for OFX – a true senior‑level hunter role.

Communicate confidently and professionally with potential clients via web conferencing, email, phone, and in‑person meetings.

Utilize your strong understanding of business and finance operations to sell and negotiate with finance leaders, controllers, accountants, and C‑level executives.

Work with internal stakeholders to ensure clients are guided through onboarding requirements.

Maintain complete and accurate client relationship records within Salesforce.

Stay up‑to‑date on OFX products, solutions, and the value offered relative to competitors.

Maintain a strong pipeline of new potential clients and consistently meet or exceed revenue sales targets.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a full‑cycle closing sales role in SMB and/or mid‑market B2B SaaS or payments, with a proven success in closing large deals.

Post‑secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Consistently achieved sales goals in a competitive, fast‑paced environment.

Strong understanding of the SaaS sales process for SMB/mid‑market segments, especially in finance organizations.

Client‑focused, consultative sales approach, able to educate clients and tailor solutions to meet their needs.

Experience selling to finance leaders, CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, and banking sectors.

Tech‑savvy; comfortable with SaaS applications and translating technical features into business benefits.

Detail‑orientated with experience using CRMs, specifically Salesforce, and maintaining accurate forecasting and records.

Problem‑solving and creative skills to identify client needs and devise solutions.

Strong communication, professionalism, and presentation skills with ability to establish relationships quickly.

Collaborative, self‑motivated team player with a competitive edge and persistence in fast‑paced environments.

Organized with strong time‑management and multi‑tasking abilities, focusing on efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive On‑Target Earnings (OTE) range of $150,000 – $180,000 USD, comprising a base salary of $80,000 – $90,000 USD plus an uncapped commission structure.

Our comprehensive benefits package is available to all full‑time employees and part‑time employees working a minimum of 24 hours per week, providing valuable support and perks as part of your compensation.

Work Arrangement and Location This is a full‑time permanent position with a flexible hybrid working model.

Employees typically work 1–2 days per week from one of our North American offices (San Francisco or Toronto) and the remainder remotely.
