
Central Sales Specialist (Remote Opportunity)

Summary Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join our growing Central Sales Management department, where you’ll focus the execution of the Group & Business Travel segments for a portfolio of Midscale Hotels. You will be part of a team that is passionate about our purpose, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills, and building connections across the organization with colleagues, customers, and guests.
The Role The Central Sales Specialist is responsible for managing a sales funnel at multiple Midscale properties daily. They receive leads from many different sources, interact with clients, create proposals, and respond in a way that is beneficial for each hotel and their individual goals. This person will also handle Cvent Lanyon RFP Management and Rate Loading, and utilize Envision and other sales tools to promptly respond to leads to increase conversion and revenue.
They must demonstrate professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing, and possess exceptional negotiating skills. Proficiency in general computer knowledge, and ability to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts, along with strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Qualifications Experience Required:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and presentation skills
Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
Must be outgoing and a proven self‑starter
A minimum of 2‑3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Envision, Opera, and Cvent Group & Transient
Experience Preferred:
Previous Hyatt Group and/or Business Travel Selling experience

Salary Range : $70,000‑$80,000. Pay will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
