Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer

Position Summary The Assistant HR Training Director Intern participates in an advanced, hands‑on learning experience focused on Learning & Development, training program design, delivery, and department management within the Apex Talent Initiative Academy. This role provides real exposure to managing the training department and staff, creating professional development tools using Google Workspace, and delivering firm‑wide training on new processes and procedures under close supervision. Participants may engage at different levels based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced).

Learning Focus Areas

Training needs assessment and curriculum development

Instructional design and content creation using Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Forms, and Google Classroom)

Developing and delivering firm‑wide training on new processes and procedures

Training department operations and staff coordination

Training evaluation, effectiveness measurement, and reporting

Program Activities

Designing and building training materials, e‑learning modules, and tools using Google Workspace

Assisting with the planning, coordination, and delivery of organization‑wide training sessions on new processes and procedures

Supporting daily training department operations and staff scheduling

Tracking training completion, attendance, and compliance records

Facilitating training workshops and onboarding programs (under supervision)

Communicating questions or observations to HR leadership

All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.

Leadership Development Component

Participating in training planning discussions

Supporting coordination of large‑scale firm‑wide learning initiatives

Observing HR decision‑making related to Learning & Development

This is a developmental experience and does not involve independent decision‑making authority or supervisory responsibility.

Participation Expectations

Engage consistently in program activities and sessions

Maintain communication with program coordinators and leadership

Students, recent graduates, or early‑career professionals

Individuals seeking experience in Learning & Development or HR training

Individuals transitioning into HR‑related roles

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Clear written and verbal communicationAbility to handle confidential information professionally

Attention to detail

Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Work Environment This is a remote learning environment involving structured sessions, guided activities, and cross‑functional collaboration.
