Project Architect – Luxury Residential (Irvine, CA)
DAHLIN ARCHITECTURE | Planning | Interiors – Full-time
Are you an architect passionate about luxury residential design? Our Irvine studio is seeking a licensed Architect to join our Residential team. If you thrive on executing projects and take pride in producing complete, coordinated construction documents, this is your opportunity to work on exceptional luxury residential projects with a team that shares your passion for design excellence.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Irvine, CA office.
What You Will Do
Successfully coordinate all project efforts through all phases of design and development to ensure the most efficient and cost‑effective execution for the most complex projects.
Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions.
Direct Schematic Design and Construction Documents and monitor adherence to project requirements.
Supervise the team’s design and technical delivery.
Monitor budgets and schedules and maintain project documentation.
Develop and represent lead technical viewpoint on projects.
Coordinate with Project Management, other Architects and consultants on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
Deliver a complete, accurate and well‑coordinated set of project documents for quality control review with minimal comments.
Mentor architectural staff.

Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow‑through.
Strong skills and talent in Revit/BIM, SketchUp modeling, Adobe, Photoshop, and AutoCAD.
Your Qualifications
Registered Architect in the state of CA.
6+ years of experience with luxury residential projects.
Completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
Passion for continued learning and professional growth.
Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Salary range:
$90,000 - $120,000 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
