$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Consumer Product Partners The Specialist for Contract Manufacturing helps grow Consumer Product Partners' contract manufacturing business by supporting projects, interacting with customers, and presenting new products. They ensure project goals are met on time and within budget, manage daily activities across multiple projects, and ensure functional departments meet key deliverables. The role also involves collaborating with leadership on new product development, gathering cost estimate data, and assisting with customer communication, problem-solving, and portfolio management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Present new products and the full range of the company's capabilities; evaluate new business opportunities, visit stores, review codes, and make recommendations on product offerings. Forecast sales production needs, quantities, and trends. Compare sales performance to budget actuals. Provide customer support by addressing customer requests to resolve issues. Review Finished Goods on Hand report, manage excess or slow-moving inventory, complete weekly sales reports, sample requests, and artwork requirements. Perform project management duties for new business opportunities, following the Stage Gate process before presenting pricing to customers. Monitor incoming orders and ensure effective fulfillment by reviewing upcoming production schedules, coordinating with the scheduling department and customer service to meet customer needs while avoiding excess inventory or obsolescence risk. Take a proactive approach to account management by serving as a single point of contact for contract manufacturing accounts and coordinating conversations with other supporting departments. Arrange meetings with all relevant decision-makers within the customer. Handle additional responsibilities as needed, including Swan Zone Account and order form management and production scheduling for contract manufacturing accounts. Manage new products through workflow, activation, production, and transportation. Participate in Stage Gate meetings. Maintain project information for scoping and execution phases. Communicate project deliverables and changes to the organization. Develop solutions to keep projects on track. Lead cross-functional team meetings. Communicate with project stakeholders. Provide cost-effective solutions while meeting customer needs. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field required. Preferred: SAP knowledge Excellent organizational and time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams Strong attention to detail Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Travel: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
