
Asset Manager

The Asset Manager works with all Asset Management team members as well as borrowers, lenders, local, state and federal government agencies to preserve the value of the multifamily housing by collateralizing those Mortgage Loans.
Major Responsibilities
Monitor and track receipt of quarterly/annual financial statements.
Confirm all documentation is filed appropriately and systems are updated.
Manage inspection ordering and review process per lender guidelines.
Analyze and report on financial performance for an assigned portfolio of Loans.
Ensure (i) all documentation is saved in each Property’s Servicing File, and (ii) all financial reviews, inspections and other reporting documents are submitted on a timely basis.
Perform ongoing asset management and surveillance activities to identify, monitor, rate and mitigate the financial, credit, operational, physical, ownership and market risks impacting the properties collateralizing the portfolio, as assigned.
Coordinate data quality control with the Asset Manager’s portfolio.
Coordinate financial and inspection submissions for the Asset Manager’s portfolio.
Coordinate with Loan Operations team on completion, review and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual Lender Certifications.
Assist with systems development and process improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in real estate asset / portfolio management, finance, or mortgage servicing
Undergraduate business degree in general accounting, banking, finance, real estate, or relatable field is required.
Commercial real estate background desirable.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, coordinate, and communicate effectively and cultivate new and existing relationships with both borrowers and lenders.
Good analytical, oral, and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
Ability to respond in a timely manner to both borrower and lender requests.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Creative and flexible approach to problem solving and organizational challenges.
