Job Overview A Construction Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Technical Sales Engineer is required to join an industry leader in Utah.

The successful candidate will come from an automation controls background and have experience selling building automation systems and HVAC controls to engineers, contractors, and owners.

Base Pay: $70,000/year - $100,000/year

Responsibilities

Grow business across all market segments by regularly engaging with assigned customers.

Maintain active communication and relationships with in-house personnel and buying influences.

Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to expand territory interactions.

Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.

Partner with customers to understand project specifications and ensure proposals meet requirements.

Recommend adjustments to sales strategies/tactics based on evaluations.

Negotiate orders, including technical, commercial, and legal details.

Requirements

Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and solutions professionally.

Experience managing a sales territory and developing/executing business plans.

Expertise in Automation is essential.

Knowledge of building automation is beneficial.

Preferably resides in Salt Lake City.
