Role Summary

Our client, a postsecondary healthcare education provider, is seeking an Assistant Program Director to support the leadership and operations of its Vocational Nursing (VN) program. This role works closely with program leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, academic quality, faculty oversight, and student success. The position combines administrative responsibilities with instructional duties. Key Responsibilities

Support the Program Director in planning, development, management, and evaluation of the VN program Prepare reports, documentation, and materials for regulatory agencies, accreditation processes, and site visits Assist in identifying and securing external clinical and educational resources Evaluate and approve clinical sites; ensure required approvals are completed prior to student placement Oversee timely completion of student academic and clinical evaluations by faculty Maintain feedback and evaluation records from students, faculty, and clinical partners Support program quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning efforts Ensure timely scheduling of clinical rotations, assignments, and academic calendars Monitor faculty adherence to clinical policies and program standards Review and update student learning materials as needed Ensure accurate maintenance of student records in compliance with institutional and regulatory policies Submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner Stay current with industry practices, instructional technology, and safety regulations Provide guidance and advising to prospective and current students Ensure students meet graduation requirements and eligibility for licensure examinations Teach theory and/or clinical courses (approximately 50% of workload) Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of direct patient care experience as an RN At least one of the following:

1+ year of teaching or clinical supervision in an approved nursing program within the last 5 years, or 3+ years of experience in nursing education or administration within the last 5 years

Coursework or training in teaching, curriculum development, and/or administration Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in an academic environment Preferred Qualifications

1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience 1–3 years of teaching experience in vocational or registered nursing programs Compensation & Work Model
