Wholesale Sales Assistant
The Kasper Group, a leading apparel industry leader for over 30 years, is seeking a dynamic Wholesale Sales Assistant to provide critical support to our growing wholesale division. This role offers hands‑on experience across sales, design, production, and customer service, and is ideal for a highly organized, motivated individual passionate about fashion and eager to learn.
What You’ll Do
Provide essential support : Act as the main point of contact between Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Design teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Manage purchase orders : Handle the full lifecycle of customer purchase orders, from creation and processing to tracking and shipment.
Generate and analyze reports : Create, manage, and distribute key reports on style selling, daily sales, and inventory, and highlight findings with reorders.
Support account management : Assist with entry‑level account responsibilities, including showroom presentations and business management.
Prepare for meetings and markets : Organize agendas, schedule appointments, and manage samples for client meetings and market events.
Oversee sample management : Track incoming and outgoing customer samples and monitor pre‑production (PP) and top‑of‑production (TOP) samples.
Conduct research : Perform online product research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Who You’re A Fit
Experience : 1+ year of related professional or internship experience; familiarity with ready‑to‑wear sales is a plus.
Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required; business or merchandising focus is a plus.
Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with RLM and Retail Math highly preferred.
Key Abilities : Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills; thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment.
Salary Range:
$50K-$60K (actual base salary based on experience, qualifications, and assigned unit).
