Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. Compensation ranges from $11.00 to $13.00 per hour, with commission structure that pays for every transaction. Earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.07 per hour on top of your hourly rate. Perks and Benefits

Position Summary

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. Associates work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

These are representative duties and not all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise. Performs sales and loan transactions per policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; fosters a positive work environment. Collaborates with employees to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training successfully. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.) per law. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience preferred. Willingness to work at multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
