Overall Job Summary: The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain attendance, work scheduled shifts, communicate proactively with supervisors, complete planograms and resets accurately, maintain visual standards, perform store measurements, complete layout initiatives, conduct inventory counts, execute price changes, hang signage, assemble merchandise and fixtures, review planogram integrity, and deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA (Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend, Add value, Appreciate). Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred. Must be 18+ years old. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is necessary.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, computer skills, interpersonal skills, and self-direction are important.
Working Conditions:
Mostly indoor with moderate noise, hard surfaces, and adequate lighting and temperature. Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours. Must promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 2000 pounds with equipment, lift overhead, stand, kneel, reach, and move throughout the store. Must have stamina and operate equipment safely.
