Counter Sales , you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. No need to be a mechanic, but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role is ideal for those seeking a career in automotive retail, whether full-time or part-time, or those exploring future opportunities with us.
Responsibilities
Provide auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
Assist team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
Engage with customers and bring energy to our fast-paced stores.
Utilize technology, including computers, cash registers, and catalogs.
Ideal Candidate
Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and questions.
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars.
Willing to learn automotive parts if new to the industry.
Desire to grow and develop a career within our team.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License.
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
High School Diploma or GED; technical courses are a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment.
Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership.
Experience with cataloging or inventory systems.
Customer-centric attitude.
ASE Certifications are a plus.
