Store Counter Sales , you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. Previous automotive knowledge is preferred but not required—willingness to learn is key. Responsibilities include: Providing auto parts advice and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone. Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge. Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. Engaging with customers to foster a welcoming environment. Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs. This opportunity is ideal if you: Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and questions. Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with vehicles. Are eager to learn automotive basics. Seek growth and career development within a supportive team. Minimum requirements include: Valid Driver’s License. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong listening skills and empathy for customers. Preferred but not essential: Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership work. Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems. Customer-centric attitude.
