We are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA
Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (but if you can, that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or explore other career paths with us.
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
Engaging with customers to ensure a positive experience
Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs
Who You Are
Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
Willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
Interested in growing your career in a team environment
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses a plus
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
Good listening skills and empathy for customers
Preferred Qualifications
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries
Experience with inventory management systems
Customer-centric attitude
ASE Certifications (a plus)
