$10.00 to $14.00 per hour , with the potential to earn additional commission on transactions. Position Summary:
We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. Associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Commission Plan:
The commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on gross profit of personal performance. Pay details provided during the interview process. Perks and Benefits

Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions. Perform non-management open/close procedures. Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays. Conduct sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements. Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Complete training and perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods; able to perform duties including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency. Cash handling experience is preferred. Ability to work at multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
