We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Key Accounts Representative
to support our Key Contract Sales, Wholesale, and Retail Sales desk. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day sales support and order processing for key customer accounts while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality service.
As a primary point of contact, you will work closely with customers, internal teams, and third-party partners to coordinate orders, resolve issues, and support ongoing account management. This position works alongside the Vice President of Retail and Wholesale Sales to help maintain strong customer relationships and support key sales initiatives. This is a
full-time, in-office
position.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently process and track key customer purchase orders received via email and EDI systems.
Assist key accounts with orders, returns, shipments, product, and service; placing, making changes to, or canceling orders as required.
Support new customer onboarding and account setup
Maintain accurate customer account information, service records, and order documentation in Produce Pro and related systems
Communicate customer requests and issues with internal teams and third-party partners
Monitor and respond to order issues, including incident reports, shortages, and delivery concerns
Coordinate with transportation, warehouse, inventory, sales, and operations teams to support product availability and delivery execution.
Schedule delivery appointments for customers requiring specific delivery windows.
Coordinate delivery appointments and communicate customer delivery requirements, instructions, and service issues to internal teams as needed
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in inside sales, customer service, or order management preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with customers
Comfortable working with computers; experience with EDI systems or ERP platforms (Produce Pro a plus)
Ability to take direction while also making sound, independent decisions
