Events & Catering Steward

plays a critical role in ensuring all banquet and catering operations run smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of kitchen and service equipment.

This role supports both Culinary and Banquets teams, helping deliver seamless and high-quality event experiences through attention to detail and operational excellence.

Requested Tasks:

Clean and sanitize all kitchen, banquet, and service equipment including dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils

Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, kitchen spaces, and back-of-house areas

Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet and catering equipment as needed

Ensure all equipment is properly stored and organized after use

Support culinary and banquet teams by maintaining adequate supply levels of clean equipment

Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in all stewarding and service areas

Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations

Assist with inventory and organization of stewarding supplies

Report maintenance issues or equipment concerns promptly

Prior experience in stewarding, kitchen support, or hospitality operations preferred

Knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning procedures preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Positive attitude and willingness to support multiple departments

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand and work for extended periods

Ability to lift, push, and carry objects up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks

Ability to safely operate dishwashing equipment and cleaning tools
