
Marketing Intern

LOCATION:
LOCATION: Fully remote, but must be located in Michigan in order to meet in person with the team on occasion.
HOURS PER WEEK: 20 hours
HOURLY PAY: $17 per hour
WEEKLY SCHEDULE: At least 2–3 days per week, but open to 5 days per week (days and hours TBD; consistent weekly schedule is preferred)
WORKING HOURS: Interns are expected to work within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST) once their schedule is determined.
INTERNSHIP LENGTH: The internship is expected to run through 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Intern will support the creation of weekly product-focused content with accompanying graphics, manage the production and distribution of the monthly newsletter, develop product sheets and other marketing collateral, and help expand the social media presence for both InfoSight360 and CU Risk Intelligence. This role will also assist in developing a cohesive, consistent library of marketing materials and support the creation and ongoing maintenance of partner-facing areas for each company, where approved assets can be reviewed and downloaded. The Marketing Intern will also contribute to the creation of short marketing and training videos.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create weekly product-related marketing graphics and accompanying written content
Apply best practices to standardize visual style (layout, readability, consistent branding)
Create and maintain reusable templates (social posts, newsletter banners, web banners)
Produce and distribute the InfoSight360 and CU Risk Intelligence monthly newsletters
Support existing social media presence and assist in expanding platforms and content approaches
Assist with the creation and maintenance of partner-facing asset libraries for each company for review and download by League/Associations and Reseller partners
Create short marketing videos and training tips to support product awareness and education
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity, tone, and audience
Ability to create simple, clean, and visually consistent marketing graphics
Ability to learn product features and translate them into clear, engaging marketing materials
Basic understanding of brand guidelines and the importance of visual consistency
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional team members
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Coursework or hands‑on experience in marketing principles, digital marketing, consumer behavior, or analytics preferred
Working knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
Basic video creation and editing skills for short‑form marketing or training content
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools is a plus
Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for posting and engagement
Prior internship, academic, or project‑based experience supporting marketing or communications initiatives preferred
TRAVEL
Position may require light travel as needed to support clients and/or attend company events.
