NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office. Summary The Visual Designer role is for someone with a strong design aesthetic, can work independently, understands and can execute brand guidelines and is a strong creative leader with a point-of-view. The Visual Designer will create designs for an array of external and internal marketing collateral as needed. This position is an individual contributor and works closely with cross-functional business partners and external agencies as needed. Essential Functions Understanding of fundamental design principles for web and print that affect typography, composition, color, use of space and hierarchy of information. Conceptual and brainstorming skills are a must as you will be expected to carry out a concept from start to completion, on your own. Ability to deliver strong designs during rapid, iterative processes and multitask in a fast paced environment. Capable of clearly and effectively communicating ideas. Responsible for the creative thought leadership for new campaign designs. Collaborates with product marketing to ensure design solution meets product requirements and complements product marketing strategy across various marketing channels. Prepares and presents creative concepts to the stakeholders for feedback, direction and approval. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong working knowledge of InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Word and PowerPoint required. For digital design work Flash, action scripting, HTML, CSS experience is desirable. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong strategic thinker, able to establish a look and feel, evaluate a creative approach, brainstorm, think and respond quickly while delivering original and innovative ideas. A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating digital expertise and brand storytelling. A positive and clear communicator— able to articulate ideas and voice constructive opinions. A great collaborator and able to work with people across multiple categories and functional areas. Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification Bachelor's degree required; Design or related preferred. We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $76,657.00 - Mid: $95,820.00 - Max: $114,985.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
