Community & Operations Manager - Venice Beach, CA
The Manager is responsible for identifying the needs of guests, overseeing the Venice Beachs locations and encouraging community with the goal of providing an excellent guest experience.
Requirements
Self-starter who can work independently
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Detail oriented
Must be proficient and professional in communications; both verbal and written
High hustle: willing to get your hands dirty as necessary to move fast and get things done.
Must align with the company’s missions and values
Team player
Must have a customer‑centric disposition
Must have great social skills and sound judgment in practical matters.
Must be based in the Los Angeles area, preferably near Venice Beach
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
Providing a high level of service to ensure a great guest experience by:
Welcoming and communicating with guests, in-person and/or through messages.
Being on-call for guests’ questions and concerns before and during their stay.
Ensuring that guests are following rental rules and policies.
Monitoring and maintaining the net promoter score by reviewing feedback.
Property Management & Operations
Ensuring that the locations are in excellent operating condition by:
Performing property and room inspections.
Staging and organizing the property as needed.
Supervising and communicating with the cleaning services.
Keeping essential amenities and supplies stocked.
Overseeing that all items in the property are in good working condition.
Overseeing any necessary maintenance, repairs, and improvements as needed.
Coordinating with vendors and following up until issues are resolved.
Being on-call for property emergencies.
Community
Encouraging community and creating brand awareness by:
Posting at least one time per month on the Member Hub and answering questions in a timely manner.
Moderating and posting at least one time per week on the Whats app location group; includes answering questions in a timely manner.
Coordinating and attending at least one in-person gathering per week.
Giving recommendations and answering questions about the location.
