We're looking for a Senior Paid Media Buyer who lives inside ad platforms. Someone who can manage a portfolio of DTC client accounts across Meta, Google, and TikTok, and consistently hit acquisition and ROAS targets in some of the most compliance-heavy categories in digital marketing.
The Role
You are in the accounts every day. Launching campaigns, testing audiences, adjusting bids, troubleshooting delivery issues, analyzing performance, and scaling what works. You're not setting things up and checking back in a week, you're actively managing, optimizing, and pushing performance forward daily across multiple client accounts.
You'll report directly to the Head of Paid Media, who sets the overarching strategy and manages the media buying function across the agency. Your job is to execute at a high level, take the strategic direction and run with it, bring your own insights and recommendations to the table, and own the day-to-day performance of every account in your portfolio.
You'll work closely with the creative team to communicate what's performing, what's fatiguing, and what creative assets you need next. The feedback loop between media buying and creative is how this agency operates, you're a critical part of that engine.
What You'll Do
Manage and optimize paid media campaigns daily across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google (Search, Shopping, YouTube), and TikTok for a portfolio of DTC client accounts
Own the day-to-day execution: campaign builds, audience targeting, bid management, budget pacing, A/B testing, and performance troubleshooting across all platforms
Hit and exceed client acquisition targets: CPA, ROAS, CAC, and spend efficiency goals across every account in your portfolio
Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and make optimization decisions based on real numbers, not gut feelings
Build and execute creative testing frameworks: test hooks, angles, formats, and variations, then communicate winning patterns to the creative team
Provide clear performance feedback to the creative team: what assets are working, what's dying, what to produce next
Manage conversion tracking, pixel health, and attribution setup across client accounts to ensure data accuracy
Report on account performance to the Head of Paid Media and Client Success team with clear insights, not just data dumps. What happened, why, and what you're doing about it
Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, new ad formats, and AI-powered bidding tools across Meta, Google, and TikTok
Navigate ad policy and compliance challenges specific to regulated verticals: you'll be running ads for supplements, peptides, telehealth, beauty, and iGaming, which means understanding what gets flagged, rejected, or banned and how to stay compliant while still performing
What We're Looking For
5+ years of hands-on experience buying paid media for DTC / ecommerce brands, you've managed real budgets and driven measurable results.
Strong platform expertise across Meta Ads Manager (primary), Google Ads (Search, Shopping, YouTube), and TikTok Ads Manager. You know campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding mechanics, and troubleshooting at an advanced level on all three
You've managed multiple accounts simultaneously and know how to prioritize your time across a portfolio without letting any account slip
Strong analytical skills, you can pull insights from platform data, Google Analytics, and reporting tools to make smart optimization decisions quickly
Experience with structured creative testing, you understand how to test hooks, angles, and formats systematically, not randomly
You understand the relationship between media buying and creative output. You can clearly articulate what the creative team needs to build based on what you're seeing in the data
Experience with conversion tracking, pixel implementation, and attribution, you know how to make sure the data you're optimizing against is actually accurate
Familiarity with compliance-heavy verticals (supplements, peptides, health, beauty, gambling, telehealth) is a strong plus. You've dealt with ad disapprovals and policy restrictions and know how to work within them
High ownership mentality, you don't wait to be told an account is underperforming. You catch it, diagnose it, and fix it before anyone has to ask
Deal-Breakers
You've only run one brand's account, we need someone comfortable managing a multi-account portfolio across different verticals
You can't articulate why something isn't working beyond "the algorithm", we need analytical thinkers who dig into the data
You treat creative as someone else's problem, the media buying and creative feedback loop is non-negotiable here
You need to be reminded to check on your accounts, this role requires daily, proactive management
Monthly retainer: $4,000–$8,000 based on accounts and complexity
Performance bonuses tied to client results, ROAS and portfolio growth
Budgets managed: $100K–$500K+/month
Top media buyers on 15+ accounts earn $8K–$10K+/mo full-time
