Founding Account Executive (Full Cycle) — San Francisco


GTMRec.io is hiring on behalf of a high-growth AI/Fintech startup backed with early funding and serious momentum.

This is a founding sales hire — not a plug-and-play AE role.

If you’ve closed six-figure deals, thrive in ambiguity, and want to build a sales engine from scratch, this is where you do it.

⚡ What you’ll own
  • Full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → negotiation → close
  • Sell into banks, fintechs, and crypto companies
  • Build the sales playbook from zero (process, messaging, motion)
  • Partner directly with the CEO on pricing, packaging, and positioning
  • Create a predictable, data-driven pipeline
  • Help hire and mentor future AEs as the team scales
🎯 What we’re looking for
  • 4–8 years experience as a top-performing AE
  • Track record of closing six-figure deals
  • Experience in startup environments (early-stage preferred)
  • Strong commercial instincts + ability to operate without structure
  • Confident selling into financial services / fintech / crypto
  • Builder mindset — you want to create the system, not inherit one

  • Experience selling AI, compliance, or infrastructure products
  • Background selling into risk, fraud, AML, or compliance teams
  • Prior founding / early GTM experience
💰 Comp & setup
  • $140K – $180K base (OTE higher depending on structure)
