Role Overview CornerPost is seeking an Industry Relations & Engagement Manager to lead client-focused relationship building and engagement across the agriculture industry.
This role blends industry knowledge with hands‑on execution. The right candidate understands how the agriculture ecosystem operates, who influences whom, where trust is built, and how partnerships move initiatives forward. They will serve as a connector on behalf of our clients while working closely with our client relationship and creative teams to ensure engagement efforts are aligned and impactful.
This position strengthens both client relationships and internal industry knowledge, helping our team remain credible and connected in the sectors we serve, while supporting our why: Creatively Moving Agriculture Forward.
Key Responsibilities Lead Industry Relationship Development
Build and maintain meaningful relationships across growers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, associations, universities, conservation groups, and policy stakeholders.
Identify key influencers and stakeholder networks relevant to client initiatives.
Create opportunities to connect clients with strategic partners and collaborators.
Represent clients and CornerPost at industry events and convenings.
Design and Execute Engagement Initiatives
Develop and lead engagement programs aligned with client goals.
Plan and facilitate roundtables, advisory councils, leadership programs, and cross‑sector forums.
Coordinate producer meetings, dealer events, technical trainings, and industry gatherings.
Oversee logistics, communication, and on‑site execution with strong attention to detail.
Ensure engagement efforts deliver real relationship and reputational value.
Collaborate Across the CornerPost Team
Partner with client relationship teams to align engagement initiatives with overall client priorities.
Work alongside creative teams to ensure projects and experiences reflect clear messaging and strong brand execution.
Contribute industry insight that strengthens campaigns, positioning, and long‑term client planning.
Participate in internal planning to ensure engagement efforts support broader objectives.
Strengthen Internal Industry Knowledge
Share relevant industry trends and stakeholder insights with the team.
Support internal education efforts that strengthen understanding of the agriculture sectors we serve.
Encourage cross‑client knowledge sharing that elevates strategic thinking across the agency.
Experience and Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of the agriculture industry and its relationship networks.
Demonstrated ability to build trust with industry leaders and stakeholders.
Understanding of how influence flows across production agriculture, agribusiness, policy, and research sectors.
Experience leading programs, events, or stakeholder initiatives.
