Direct Markets Account Executive - TN/KY
We are looking for an experienced, aggressive sales leader to join Zurich Direct Markets as an
Account Executive
in the Tennessee/Kentucky territory. The role focuses on providing Property and Casualty insurance and F&I products to the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate new commercial business prospects, providing Property and Casualty insurance to large retail automobile dealers and supporting marketing of F&I products in the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Manage an existing territory, driving growth and profitability.
Make sales presentations to clients in person or via Microsoft Teams.
Collaborate with other field team members to maintain and enhance customer relationships and ensure seamless program/product implementation.
Operate in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with six‑figure income potential.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in sales OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree; no prior sales experience required AND
Knowledge of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology.
Knowledge of the insurance industry regulatory environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to be licensed to sell insurance in required states.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of business‑to‑business sales experience.
Knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and terminology.
Knowledge of insurance industry regulatory requirements.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Licensed to sell insurance in the required states.Experience analyzing financial statements.
Compensation & Benefits The position includes a variable component based on performance under the sales incentive plan, with an annual variable compensation range of $165,000 to $195,000. Pay is based on role, location, skills, and experience, and may include bonuses and merit increases.
