Marketing Manager – Marketing Communications Growth Location: 50 Amica Way, Lincoln, RI 02865

Job Overview The Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of Direct Mail. They will play a key role in developing CRM strategy to drive acquisition, upsell, cross‑sell, and retention across prospect and customer journeys, with a focus on better integrating and orchestrating Direct Mail with Email and SMS programs.

Responsibilities

Oversee the strategy, planning and execution of the Direct Mail program including budget management.

Partner with Marketing Data Science to optimize process, effectiveness and efficiency of Direct Mail programs; analyze performance and use data to determine shifts to achieve goals and effectiveness. Build and execute test plans including channel specific and cross‑channel tests. Provide new campaign ideation.

Partner with Marketing Data Science on the use of marketing technology and data integrations to orchestrate and enable personalization, automation and measurement. Leverage AI to enhance program effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Partner with Email Marketing Manager to ensure alignment of Direct Mail, Email and SMS programs with audience, brand, product, media strategy and overall MarCommGro objectives. Plan and execute coordinated campaigns aligned with business goals and buyer‑journey stages.

Partner with Digital to inform and align customer experience across touchpoints.

Partner with the Product Development team to develop product‑focused campaign strategy and execution.

Partner with the SCS team to align on policyholder cross‑sell and upsell strategy.

Evaluate vendors and emerging technologies to inform strategy, experimentation and optimization.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategic shifts, performance and progress. Communicate campaign highlights to stakeholders.

Ensure professional development and upskilling of direct reports and others on the team.

May be called upon to handle other duties as required.

The 37.5‑hour work week is scheduled from Monday through Friday between the core hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

A hybrid schedule will be available once trained to work independently, with three days reporting to our Lincoln, RI office and two days working from home.

This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant marketing experience.

Experience managing direct mail vendor partners including print facilities, USPS, etc.

Experience in the development, execution and analysis of Direct Mail as part of cross‑channel marketing programs; experience with related marketing technology such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Merkury, Adobe, or others.

Strong project management and communication skills.

Experience in the development of product marketing campaign strategy and execution.

Self‑motivated with a high degree of initiative and excellent follow‑up skills, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with agency partners, internal partners and internal stakeholders.

Experience with the insurance industry preferred.

Ability to manage, inspire and lead direct reports.
