Overview
FleishmanHillard is looking for a Research Director to join our True Global Intelligence Team for a hybrid role. The role expands AI capabilities, integrates AI into research projects, and drives strategic research initiatives at the intersection of methodology and innovation.
The Research Director will lead analytics and support multiple accounts, optimizing programs through AI while maintaining rigor and meeting client needs. The position is ideal for someone experimenting with AI, building custom prompts, and enjoying platform tinkering.
Responsibilities
Integrate AI processes and methods in existing programs and develop new AI-enabled capabilities.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients and cross‑functional resources.
Advising clients and senior decision makers on integrating AI into research to achieve account goals.
Ensure adherence to processes and maintain documentation for high‑quality deliverables.
Own project execution, escalating timeline or data quality issues promptly.
Coach junior staff, oversee deliverables, and provide development opportunities.
Assist in scope of work, budgeting, and staffing with team leads.
Present research findings clearly, translating data into strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
Hybrid work model: in‑person weekly at a U.S. location.
7+ years breadth in research categories and models; client‑service experience preferred.
Hands‑on experience with AI tools and proficiency in integrating AI solutions with traditional methods.
Experience with secondary research, social listening, landscape analysis, synthesis, and insights development.
Business acumen and self‑starter mindset, capable of independent and collaborative work.
Analytical and deductive reasoning, delivering meaningful insights and storytelling.
Strong project management with prioritization, deadlines, and process oversight.
Excellent written and verbal communication for audiences across technical and non‑technical spectrum.
Expertise with media data collection tools such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Cision, Signal AI; Google Analytics plus.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Benefits Salary range: $71,000‑$125,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and additional perks.
