Associate to Associate Director - Transport Planning

A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking two experienced Associate to Associate Directors to join its expanding Transport Planning & Infrastructure team. This is a senior opportunity to lead on a diverse portfolio of development and infrastructure projects across the UK, working within a collaborative, planning-led environment.

You’ll play a key role in shaping transport strategies, supporting major development schemes and contributing to the continued growth of the team across multiple office locations.

The Role As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of project delivery, client relationships and technical outputs across a range of transport planning services.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading transport planning input across development projects from appraisal through to delivery.

Preparing and overseeing Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans.

Developing sustainable transport and mobility strategies.

Undertaking junction modelling, network analysis and forecasting.

Supporting site promotion and infrastructure planning work.

Managing project programmes, priorities and deliverables.

Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Contributing to business development and team growth.

About You

Significant experience in transport planning within a consultancy or similar environment.

Strong technical capability across modelling and assessment tools (e.g. ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, TEMPRO, AutoCAD).

Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality technical outputs.

Excellent written, analytical and communication skills.

Strong client-facing experience and relationship management ability.

Proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.

Experience leading or mentoring team members (desirable at this level).
