Director of Procurement and Planning

Our client is seeking a Director of Planning & Procurement who will lead demand planning, supply planning, procurement, inbound logistics, and the management of domestic and international third-party suppliers and manufacturers. This role is responsible for ensuring the right inventory is available in the right location at the right time by establishing a disciplined, forward-looking S&OP process and strong cross-functional alignment. Key responsibilities include supply planning, purchase order execution, supplier coordination, inbound shipments to warehouses, and oversight of freight partners, customs brokers, and import processes. The role drives supplier performance through clear expectations, performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across quality, cost, delivery, and resilience. Success requires strong execution discipline, proactive communication across teams and time zones, and the ability to build, lead, and develop a high-performing supply chain team in a fast-paced environment. This role is fully onsite in the PDX area and offering a salary of $150-160k/yr.
