We are seeking a skilled
Indirect Tax Analyst II
to manage tax compliance with expanded responsibilities in reconciliations, audits, and tax research.
Job Functions
Independently prepare and file indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
Conduct more complex reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Respond to state notices and assist in tax audits with minimal supervision.
Research and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance.
Assist in maintaining tax software configurations and updates.
Provide input on process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Mentor and provide guidance to Indirect Tax Analyst I team members.
Perform other duties as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
1+ years of related experience.
Skills
Hard Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Advanced proficiency in Excel and tax software (Avalara, Vertex, SRA, SAP).
Soft Skills: Effective communication and ability to manage workload independently.
Typical Physical Demands
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
