Job Description
We are searching for a Sales Associate to support clients in the Westchester County, NY area. The role supports customers in hospitals and procedures, ensuring technical expertise, product knowledge, and high customer service. The associate will maintain and enhance relationships with surgeons and accounts within a geographic territory, covering cases and offering a portfolio of solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers, and support product conversions with new customers.
Guide surgeons in the operating room through clinical and product knowledge; present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products.
Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring proper equipment is available, and providing operating room and sterile processing department consultation.
Troubleshoot technical issues, manage hospital billing, and create/close purchase orders.
Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams; prepare sales reports and documents.
Maintain equipment and assets; ensure product availability; keep promotional materials presentable; maintain highest quality standards.
Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, improving customer insights into DePuy Synthes value proposition and solutions; differentiate DPS from competitors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree with medical certification, or minimum of 4 years of professional or related experience; or transition from active military duty.
Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Willingness to travel, including weekends/overnight.
Residency in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and business acumen skills.
Proactive, efficient, organized, and self‑motivated.
Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions preferred.
