Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning video content that aligns with our brand identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, excel at meeting tight deadlines, and work collaboratively with our team to deliver high‑quality projects. This position requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, strong creativity, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location : Brooklyn, NY (4 days a week)
Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content, ensuring high‑quality output that meets project requirements and brand standards.
Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project objectives, creative direction, and stakeholder expectations.
Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively, even under pressure.
Incorporate feedback and revisions into edits, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing and motion graphics.
Maintain organized project files and adhere to file‑management protocols to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions, offering innovative ideas and solutions to enhance video content.
Participate in team meetings, presentations, and reviews to share progress, updates, and insights on projects.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting team members and contributing to a culture of creativity and excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and creative projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Excellent time‑management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling, composition, and design.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to coming into the office four days a week.
Knowledge of video production workflows, formats, and codecs is a plus.
Salary Range
$90,000 – $100,000 USD
