
Social Media Marketing Specialist

The Advertising Associate’s primary function is to assist in developing and maintaining all property initiatives through property collateral, social and traditional media. This position reports to the Marketing & PR Manager and is fully integrated within the Corporate Communications organization. The role is responsible for creating and managing organic content for Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
Assist with various advertising duties, focusing on social media marketing, content creation, social care, and engagement to grow audiences, awareness, and engagement.
Comply with process and governance using social media tools such as Sprout Social.
Manage enterprise social media audits for enterprise campaigns and initiatives.
Moderate UGC in line with Caesars Entertainment’s expectations and policies.
Track and report on insights, reports, tagging and other needs.
Collaborate with Corporate Social Media and Corporate Media teams for influencer marketing and paid social support.
Manage the social media presence for Property channels.
Monitor and track social media trends.
Deliver work on or before deadline.
Covers events and activations as needed.
Contribute to the editorial calendar.
Install, remove, and maintain inventories of various in-house materials such as promotional collateral, entertainment materials, web updates, and other miscellaneous promotional items; assist in establishing positive relationships with departments.
Perform data entry tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent written skills with the ability to adapt and represent a variety of brand voices.
Strong time‑management, critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
Availability to capture social content during high‑traffic times (evenings and weekends).
In‑depth knowledge of using Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
Experience with photography, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom is a plus.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills; able to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Computer literate, with skills in Microsoft Office programs.
Friendly and excellent interaction skills.
Commitment to integrity and adherence to regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures; serves as a role model for other team members.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, from property to property.
Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations.
Must respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts.
Must work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must respond to visual and oral cues.
