Hospitality Intern – Tropicana Laughlin Why It’s More Than a Job As a Hospitality Intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across multiple departments while learning what makes Caesars Entertainment legendary. You’ll bring positive energy to every interaction, create memorable moments for guests, and help deliver the Family Style Service that defines our brand. This internship is designed to build your skills, expand your knowledge, and prepare you for a future career in hospitality.
$18.00 per hour + Free Room & Board + Meals Provided
Responsibilities What You’ll Do
Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, create positive energy, and maintain an upbeat, enthusiastic presence
Service Excellence: Anticipate guest needs, provide fast and flawless service, and assist in resolving service issues
Caesars Rewards: Promote loyalty programs and assist guests with card membership
Professional Development: Learn operational and administrative functions across multiple departments
Daily Support: Assist with assigned tasks, special projects, and department initiatives
Family Style Service: Deliver warm welcomes, sincere gratitude, and consistent service behaviors
Department Rotations Hospitality Interns will complete 2–3 week rotations in the following areas, gaining a comprehensive understanding of property operations:
Marketing
Support promotional event preparation and execution
Assist with social media content gathering and guest engagement
Track demographic and participation data
Food & Beverage
Learn front‑ and back‑of‑house operations
Assist with guest seating, service flow, food running, and basic prep
Finance
Support daily revenue audits and invoice processing
Observe budgeting, forecasting, and reporting procedures
Gaming Operations
Learn the basics of slot and table game operations (non‑dealing)
Assist with guest service, floor support, and player experience activities
Engineering
Shadow team members on work orders, preventative maintenance, and safety checks
Learn about building systems and operational compliance
Hotel Operations
Experience front desk, housekeeping, and bell services
Assist with check‑ins, room readiness tracking, and guest service requests
Security
Learn patrol procedures, incident reporting, and guest safety protocols
Support guest assistance and observe regulatory compliance
These rotations build foundational skills and leadership competencies essential for a future career in hospitality.
Qualifications How You Will Create the Extraordinary
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions
Adhere to lost and found procedures
Plan, organize, and complete work efficiently
Take initiative and go above and beyond for guests
Accept coaching and feedback with a growth mindset
What You Will Need
Must be 21 years of age or older
Proficient in English (verbal and written)Comfortable using iOS devices
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be a current college student pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
Basic computer skills and strong customer service abilities
Ability to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
