
Junior Interior Designer

Position Summary
The Junior Interior Designer will support TeamPAR’s three growing divisions: interiors, flooring & facilities management projects in New Jersey. This new role involves supporting the Project Manager in various project activities, ensuring effective communication among project participants, and managing project documentation.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, resourceful, and confident, taking ownership of their work from concept through installation while gaining valuable hands‑on experience.
Shift 25–40 hours/week on site in Flanders, NJ office
Compensation $20/hour
Responsibilities
Assists senior designers in conceptualizing and executing design projects by creating design concepts, floor plans, and presentations.
Take ownership of assigned project components, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication.
Manage documentation, schedules, and deliverables with strong follow-through and personal accountability.
Work independently when needed, demonstrating the ability to self‑direct and solve problems proactively. Time management and organization skills are a must.
Collaborate with the design and buying teams to source furnishings, décor, and accessories aligned with project goals and budgets.
Finish office library organization.
Vendor coordination and scheduling meetings.
Create purchase orders and track orders through completion.
Will be taught on the job how to utilize CET software.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with project management
Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
Familiarity with project management software, specifically Salesforce
AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CreativeSuite and Microsoft Office proficiency required
