Customer Service & Sales Specialist - Lighting bSchedule: onsite role

bPay: $60,000-$80,000 salary annually + performance incentives

bBenefits: Dental and vision coverage. NO health insurance.

bSchedule: Monday-Thursday + 2 Saturday’s per month (no Saturdays in July & August)

bHours per week: ~40 hours per week (flexible schedule)

About the Role We are a growing Milwaukee-based lighting manufacturer seeking a driven, customer-focused professional to join our team. This role combines customer service, inside sales, and lighting design support in a fast-paced showroom and production environment.

This is not a passive customer service position. We are looking for someone who is proactive, confident on the phone, and motivated to generate sales, build relationships, and contribute to long‑term company growth.

What You Will Do Customer Experience & Sales

Answer inbound calls and emails with professionalism and urgency

Guide customers through product selection and lighting design decisions

Convert inquiries into orders through confident communication and follow‑up

Build relationships with homeowners, contractors, designers, and repeat clients

Order Management

Accurately enter and process orders in internal systems

Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure timely delivery

Communicate order updates, timelines, and expectations clearly

Showroom & Design Center Support

Assist walk‑in customers with lighting selections

Provide hands‑on support in the showroom environment

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom space

Conduct follow‑up calls on quotes, leads, and past customers

Re‑engage inactive customers and identify new opportunities

Participate in light outbound prospecting and relationship building

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Detail‑oriented and organized

Comfortable speaking on the phone

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in customer service, retail, or inside sales preferred

Experience with order entry, CRM systems, or showroom sales

Compensation

Make $60,000 to $80,000+ annually
