Qualifications We are seeking an Assistant Director of Human Resources who holds at least 3+ years experience within Human Resources and 2+ years working with a team under a collective bargaining agreement. The candidate should possess a confident level of knowledge in Human Resources and be comfortable providing guidance and coaching to direct reports.
Shift Pattern Full Availability (Weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed)

Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing, administering, and communicating pertinent information regarding all Human Resources functions, including recruiting, training and development, wage/benefit administration, statutory compliance, team member relations, labor relations and contract compliance, performance evaluations, workers compensation and safety, employment processes, and general leadership guidance and support.
Manage and supervise the daily activities of the Human Resources department.
Participate in and facilitate meetings and monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, and recognition/reward.
Manage the hotel team member relations program (picnics, holiday parties, health fairs, communications, special promotions, etc.).
Oversee the function of the team member data management system.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to Human Resources functions.
Act in the absence of the Director.
Lead the hotel quality initiative, as needed.
