Responsibilities
Lead family engagement strategies and programming that support student success and build institutional affinity; develop and execute family programming for new student orientation, family weekends, and year‑round educational sessions.
Collaborate with academic and student services to embed family engagement into institutional initiatives; develop assessment strategies to measure ROI and retention impact.
Lead the strategic management of the Jaguar Family Hub and other family engagement technology platforms; develop personalized communications and monitor engagement analytics.
Recruit, train, and supervise student and temporary staff for family engagement initiatives; serve as instructor for the campus Certificate in Leadership course sequence.
Provide strategic vision for family engagement; conduct data analysis, benchmarking, and present actionable insights to leadership; lead special projects and cross‑functional teams.
Assist in all Office of New Student and Family Transition initiatives, including onsite facilitation of LEAP Week programming.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited institution with one year of experience in higher education, student affairs, family programming, marketing, project management, or related field.
OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with two years of progressively responsible experience in the same fields.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (preferred).
Experience in family programs and with CampusESP or similar platforms.
Project management experience or certification.
Membership in professional organizations such as AHEPPP, NASPA, ACPA.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Experience in digital content creation, social media management, and database management.
Experience with budget development and fiscal management.
Knowledge of FERPA regulations; experience with CRM systems and engagement platforms.
Understanding of higher education student development theory and family dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, provide crisis intervention and emergency response protocols, and conduct data analysis and program evaluation.
Shift, Salary, & Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday‑Friday (outside of standard business hours may be required).
Pay Band: B10
Salary: $52,500 to $65,600 annually (commensurate with qualifications).
Benefits: health insurance (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, Teachers Retirement System, vacation, sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and Tuition Assistance Program for eligible employees.
