The City of South St. Paul is seeking a part‑time (20‑hours per week) Communications Specialist. This position helps support the organization’s communications efforts by creating engaging short‑form content, maintaining digital platforms, and assisting with event promotion and coverage. This position plays a key role in ensuring clear, consistent, and visually compelling communication across social media, website, and newsletter channels.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment) in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field.
1 – 2 years of experience managing and creating content for social media platforms.
Experience creating digital and/or print materials.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
