Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is hiring a Branding Insights and Marketing Coordinator! The Gardens reaches a pivotal milestone in 2027 —our 20th Anniversary—In preparation, we are seeking someone to join the Marketing Team to support a summer-long brand refresh project. In this part‑time role, you will assess our current brand experience and gather audience insights through surveys and stakeholder collaboration, translating the data into actionable recommendations that will help shape the next chapter of our brand.
The role is suited to a highly motivated, detail‑oriented individual, who is excited about inspiring meaningful connections among people and nature, and committed to supporting the Gardens’ Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility goals.
This is a Seasonal, Part‑time position working 20 hours per week, May through October.
$20.00‑22.00 hourly, non‑exempt.
Seasonal employees receive personal and sick paid time off, paid holidays, discounts in our culinary and Gardenshop programs, and a Gardens membership.
Primary Functions
Under the stewardship of the Marketing and Communication Manager and through dialogue with internal stakeholders, audit current branding across all channels, noting areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
Co‑curate, with the broader marketing team, a survey to understand brand sentiment and connection, ensuring we are able to gauge the guest experience and understanding of our mission priorities.
Conduct surveys both on‑campus and in one or two off‑site locations, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality experience for participants.
Collaborate with the Marketing Operations Specialist to interpret survey data and generate actionable insights.
Assist with project management tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking as needed.
Physical Requirements This is primarily a sedentary job, requiring repetitive computer use. The work requires standard visual acuity. Some standing work will be necessary for survey collection.
Requirements
Experience in market research, marketing, communications, project coordination, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Comfort with data collection, survey tools, and basic data analysis.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexible availability for scheduling.
