Position Summary Golf Pro Shop Associates assist in the daily operations of the golf pro shop and course. The Pro Shop Associate will be a team-player, provide superior customer service to all guests and members. This is a summer seasonal position that pays $20.00/hour.
Essential Duties
Open and close the Pro Shop
Operate cash register and appropriate software to reconcile daily tee sheets, perform check-in, and receive payments
Enforce existing policies and regulations with support from the Golf Management team
Responsible for proactively interacting with guests and members to ensure an excellent experience
Answer the phone, make tee times, and ensure a full deposit is collected for all daily play fees
Provide information regarding various resort programs & activities
Ensure all stock is out of storage and on the sales floor
Assist with inventory count at the end of each month
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
Actively pursuing a High School Degree or equivalent, required
Previous experience working on a golf course, preferred
Previous retail experience, preferred
Active golf player, preferred
Customer service focused
Knowledge of golf etiquette and play
Physical Demands and Working Conditions This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
