The Pro Shop Associate will be a team-player, provide superior customer service to all guests and members. This is a summer seasonal position that pays $20.00/hour.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES*** Open and close the Pro Shop* Operate cash register and appropriate software to reconcile daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and receive payments* Enforces existing policies and regulations with support from the Golf Management team* Responsible for proactively interacting with guests and members to ensure an excellent experience* Answer the phone, make tee times, and ensure a full deposit is collected for all daily play fees* Provide information regarding various resort programs & activities* Ensures all stock is out of storage and on the sales floor* Assists with inventory count at the end of each month* Additional duties as assigned**QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:*** Actively pursuing a High School Degree or equivalent, required* Previous experience working on a golf course, preferred* Previous retail experience, preferred* Active golf player, preferred* Customer service focused* Knowledge of golf etiquette and play**PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS**This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
