What We Seek: Join a collaborative and mission-driven team of development professionals dedicated to advancing the research, education, and service missions of the University of New Mexico (UNM). The UNM Foundation seeks nominations and applications for an Associate Director of Development for Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR). This position is designed as an entry‑level to early‑career development role, supporting the Corporate & Foundation Relations team and working closely with the Senior Director of Development for CFR and campus partners.

What We Require: The Associate Director will play a key role in identifying, cultivating, and stewarding foundation and corporate partners in support of UNM’s research enterprise, centers, institutes, and interdisciplinary initiatives. This position offers a strong professional growth pathway for candidates seeking to build a career in higher education fundraising, corporate relations, and foundation development.

The minimum education and experience required:

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution; OR a combination of some higher education and more than one year of relevant experience.

At least one year of successful fundraising and development experience, preferably in higher education.

Compensation Salary Range: The expected salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.
