What You Will Be Doing:
This position is responsible for the completion of all functional requirements making daily use of SAP to accomplish business plans and satisfy all customer requirements.
The responsibilities are achieved without jeopardizing company values, environmental, with minimal direct supervision, clear and concise verbal and written communications and effective organization of work.
Performs day‑to‑day Logistics Operations which includes the accountability for the planning and scheduling of transportation equipment and finished goods inventory in support of the business demand utilizing various reporting databases; SAP, Scale Soft, Lab Manager, and SHIPCSX rail management systems in the successful completion of the job functions.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Works with Plant Production personnel and Plant Operators
Effective communication with Truck Carriers and CSX Railroad staff
Adhere to shipping requirements with Distribution, R&D and Laboratory
Recommend transportation changes to accommodate customer requirements
Data entry into computer‑based information systems
Post Goods Invoice (PGI) Truck and Railcar Shipments
Schedule and prepare Truck and Railcar shipment document packages
Acts as back‑up for truck and railcar coordinator during staff vacationMaintain Office Supplies and Materials
General office supplies
